About Lake Napowan
Lake Napowan is a beautiful, full-rec lake located eight miles southeast of Wild Rose in Waushara County, Wisconsin. The lake is 60 acres in size with a maximum depth of 21 feet.
Napowan is known for its tranquil vibe, sandy bottom, crystal clear water, and variety of fish...including walleye and black crappie. It's also great for almost every type of water recreation, including jet skiing, water skiing, and tow tubing.
Lake Napowan features a boat launch, making it easy for property owners to get their boats in and out each season. In addition, the lake is home to a campground.
Lake Napowan has been officially recognized by its current name since a 1950 Board decision established Lake Napowan as the official name. Later records also include Funk Lake and Funks Lake as historical variants.
