About Lake Emily
Lake Emily is a beautiful, full-rec lake located 1 mile west of Amherst Junction in Portage County, Wisconsin. The lake is 96 acres in size with a maximum depth of 35 feet.
Emily is known for its crystal clear water and yellow perch & walleye fishing. It's also great for almost every type of water recreation, including jet skiing, water skiing, and pleasure boating.
Lake Emily features a boat launch, making it easy for property owners to get their boats in and out each season. In addition, the lake is home to a park, a campground, and a swimming area.
An 1878 edition of the Historical Atlas of Wisconsin identified Lake Emily as Emily Lake, reflecting an earlier variation of the lake's name.
