About Brekke Lake

Brekke Lake is a charming, no-wake lake located five miles northwest of Scandinavia in Waupaca County, Wisconsin. The lake is 46 acres in size with a maximum depth of 22 feet.

Brekke is known for its tranquil vibe, clear water, and wide variety of fish...including pumpkinseed and walleye. It's also great for the sounds of nature and calm waters while kayaking, canoeing, and paddleboarding.

Brekke Lake features a boat launch, making it easy for property owners to get their boats in and out each season.

An 1889 map identified Brekke Lake as Bestul Lake, reflecting an earlier historical name for the lake. Later records also include Brekk Lake as a historical spelling variation.
